Primarily, it greatly reduces the amount of time that a child will be separated from his or her caregiver when lost, and hence the level of distress and anxiety felt by both the child and the adult. It only takes a second for your child to disappear from sight and hence the appeal of this product to the parent, is the comfort they feel knowing that their child is wearing this identification information, and the knowledge that they can be reunited with their child quickly and safely.

Besides the obvious benefit of easily locating your child if they get lost, there is also the empowerment and sense of responsibility that K.I.D. Band provides to the child in an emergency. In times of extreme stress, children - especially under 7 years old - are unable to effectively communicate any information that may be useful in finding their parent or guardian. In these circumstances, the K.I.D. Band will communicate for them.

K.I.D. Bands have a fun, fresh and funky design that appeals specifically to kids aged 2 to 12 years old and are made from a hard-wearing, comfortable, light-weight material called `Neoprene` the same material that wetsuits are made from.

How do they work? The K.I.D. Band has a hidden pouch on the inside of the band that stores an ID Information Card. The ID cards are made from flexible, ultra-thin PVC material which is not felt through the band material, making them comfortable for kids.

K.I.D. Bands are washable, are made with a specific tough-wearing type of velcro for both extensive durability and easily adjustable, and each K.I.D. Band comes with three Information Cards for multiple carers. (i.e. When Mum, Dad, Grandma, the Nanny, etc. takes your child our, their individual name and contact number would be inserted.)
